Medicated injections cost £45 per week for the first 4 weeks of treatment, and £65 per week thereafter. These injections are provided in 4 weekly instalments when you have your review consultation with your pharmacist.

If you have booked in for an initial consultation, this can take up to 30 minutes. If you have booked in for a follow-up appointment, these usually take less than 15 minutes.

The most common side effects that can be experienced with the treatments are gastrointestinal disturbances. However, there are ways to reduce your risk of side effects and your pharmacist will discuss these with you in your consultation.

After consultation with your pharmacist, depending on the most suitable option for you, you will be provided with the following equipment free of charge:
