Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
As one of the leading pharmaceutical wholesalers within Europe, the PHOENIX Group supports the principles of the United Nations’ Universal Declaration on Human Rights as part of its corporate activities. It is committed to ensuring that human trafficking and slavery do not exist in any area of our organisation, nor within any company of our business partners who form part of our supply chains. As part of this commitment, the PHOENIX Group has implemented its own General Procurement Supplier Code of Conduct, based on internationally recognised social, ethical and environmental criteria for the procurement of indirect and trading goods. We are also in the process of introducing a PHOENIX UK procurement policy.
Gender Pay Gap
UK legislation requires all UK companies with more than 250 or more employees on 5 April 2020 to publish specific gender pay gap information including mean and median pay gap, mean and median bonus gap, proportion of males and females receiving a bonus and proportion of males and females by quartile pay band.

Tax Strategy
This strategy covers all forms of taxation in the UK and where necessary the interaction with foreign tax regimes. References to ‘UK Taxation’ are to the taxes and duties set out in paragraph 15(1) of the Schedule.
Statement of Investment Principles
This Statement sets out how the Trustees of the Phoenix Medical Supplies Pension Scheme (“the Scheme”) approached the implementation of the environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) policies set out in the Statement of Investment Principles over the year to 31 March 2021.
